Meet Photo Club PDX’s Founder Angela Holm

Angela Holm is the founder of Photo Club PDX. She sincerely believes that "If you Dream it, and believe it - it can happen... when in Portland!" That may answer your unstated question, "Why is there a unicorn...?"!

Angela has a very diverse background. She has a background in fashion design and costuming. She has been creating photography, producing events and, unofficially, rounding up people for clubs as long as she can recall. Ask her about it sometime! She has a few stories!

In Angela's professional photography life her focus lies within weddings, branding, industrial photography as well as being a photo educator. She regularly teaches youth photography classes for Saturday Academy.

When it comes to personal photography, Angela loves the process of creating images with her many film cameras. You will often find her on the streets with her Leica M3, after dark near industry with her Pentax 67 or at the coast with her Zero Image Pinhole & Holga, to just name a few.

Angela is a Wisconsin native who joined the wonderful world of Portland in 2014. She has been seeing unicorns and rainbows ever since. She brings with her a passion for connecting people, building community and making what seems impossible, possible. You can find out more Angela about her here.
